The VP/Senior Director of Sales Operations is responsible for owning and managing the CRM tool, inside sales, sales funnel processes, forecast, pricing, commission structure, and distribution partners. In addition, the position will also be a liaison to business groups and operations in strategy, production planning, margin analysis, standardized business agreements and exploring ways to increase business and efficiencies.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead CRM activities
  • Administer weekly, monthly, and long-term forecast
  • Manage Inside Sales team and responsibilities
  • Create business reports that are used by sales team, business managers, and operations based on historical data, results to date, and future forecast
  • Define monthly objectives, standardized business reporting, and create dashboards for sales and business executives
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in the sales. Define and implement processes to increase efficiency.
  • Drive tactical sales planning throughout all levels of the organization to support internal and external customers
  • Support business process improvements
  • Assist with on-boarding new sales reps
  • Responsible for: account, opportunity and contact data including data integrity
  • Oversee and manage sales automation tools that will help with the sales funnel as well as streamlining and optimizing the sales process
  • Support managing distribution partners including pricing, point of sales, inventory, terms and conditions and other business contracts
  • Track and support manufacturing representative’s commissions

Educational Qualifications:

  • Engineering or technical degree preferred

Minimum Previous Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience integrating and supporting sales operations analysis and business processes


Other Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Clear organizational, communication, and team skills
  • MS Office, Sales Force and/or similar sales tracking software platform
  • Planning, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and follow through
